After much deliberation I made the decision to close down my practice effective August 20, 2020. My beloved partner, of 16 years, Dr. Bill Harris, retired in 2018 and the rent doubled. Also my assistant Shay (who assisted me in the Operating Room) moved on at the end of 2019. So I sold my practice and gave all of the records to the excellent doctor who purchased the practice.
I want to thank all of the wonderful patients that I had the privilege of treating for four decades (1978 to 2020). I especially treasure those many years in the Operating Room at Emory University Hospital Midtown where I treated many medically compromised patients from 1988 to 2019.
I did take a year off and have been working on a locum tenens (temporary basis) at many different offices across Metro Atlanta since July of 2021. I still love dentistry and do not plan to totally retire anytime soon.
